YES Full Circle: brand strategy for a Dubai waste management and circular economy company
A three-week brand strategy engagement that clarifies how a Dubai waste management company explains its real-world impact, without changing what it does.
The brief
YES Full Circle Solutions runs waste management, recycling and circular economy work from Jebel Ali Industrial First in Dubai. The business already turns waste into useful products and keeps it out of landfill, but its brand did not make that clear. In a sector full of green claims, the risk was sounding like everyone else.
The process at a glance
- Audit the current brandPhase 1 opens with an audit report on how the brand currently presents itself.
- Define positioning and differentiatorsThe positioning, clean, efficient waste management with real impact, is anchored in four specific differentiators drawn from the existing operation.
- Build the strategy toolkitBrand architecture, a voice and tone guide and content pillars translate the positioning into rules for every channel.
- Scope Phase 2The website, SEO foundation and marketing launch were scoped as the next phase, built on the agreed positioning.
The starting point
YES Full Circle Solutions is a waste management, recycling and circular economy company based in Jebel Ali Industrial First, Dubai, with its website at yesfullcircle.com. Its operations already went further than a typical collection and disposal service: waste kept out of landfill, waste converted into products, and profits directed back into environmental and charitable causes.
The problem was not the business model. It was how clearly the brand explained it. Waste management is a crowded field where almost every company describes itself as green or sustainable, so broad environmental language does little to separate one operator from another. The question for the engagement was how to make a strong operation legible to the customers and partners who buy and recommend these services.
The approach
The engagement is structured as a complete brand strategy workshop over three weeks, in two phases. Phase 1 covers the strategy itself: an audit of the current brand, followed by positioning, brand architecture, voice and tone, and content pillars. Phase 2 turns that strategy into public-facing work: a website, an SEO foundation, brand guidelines and launch campaigns.
Key strategy decisions
Clarify, do not pivot
The first decision was what not to change. YES Full Circle did not need a new business model or a new name. The positioning is clean, efficient waste management with real impact: an operational partner first, with environmental results behind it. This is a clarification of the existing model, which keeps the strategy credible with customers who already know the company.
Lead with differentiators competitors cannot easily copy
Rather than general sustainability language, the strategy is built on four specific points of difference:
- Zero waste to landfill as an operating principle.
- Waste converted into products, including bags, fertiliser, chemicals and fuels, which makes the circular economy tangible.
- Certified innovation behind its processes.
- Profits reinvested in ocean clean-up and charitable causes.
Each of these is concrete enough to be shown and checked, which is what separates a position from a slogan. Our brand positioning framework explains why specific, provable claims outlast broad ones.
Build the website for search, not convenience
For Phase 2, Old Port recommended WordPress or custom code over a drag-and-drop website builder because it gives more control over technical SEO. It also recommended registering a yesfullcircle.ae domain alongside the existing .com to strengthen local presence in the UAE. The website is scoped as a single English-language site.
What was delivered
Phase 1 deliverables are defined as:
- A brand audit report.
- A brand strategy document setting out the positioning and differentiators.
- A voice and tone guide.
- Brand architecture.
- Content pillars.
- A Phase 2 scope proposal.
The Phase 2 proposal covers the website, an SEO foundation and a marketing launch scoped as a 30-day strategy and a 90-day roadmap, with Old Port supplied templates and up to three rounds of revisions.
Where it is used now
The positioning and differentiators set the direction for everything that follows: the website copy, the SEO foundation and the launch content. Each new page, post and campaign can be checked against the same four differentiators before it goes out.
