Road Haulier Transport: a premium wordmark and a full website for a UAE haulage company
Three premium wordmark directions that build the road into the RHT letters, and a seven-template WordPress website for a Dubai road transport and heavy haulage company.

The brief
Road Haulier Transport (RHT) is a Dubai road transport, heavy haulage and logistics company. Its existing logo combined an RHT monogram, a road swoosh, the full English and Arabic names and a UAE flag corner graphic, so many elements competed for attention. The brief was a premium, more abstract identity in the same UAE red, green, black and white, with transport cues present but not overdone.
The process at a glance
- Explore icon-led marksA first round tested three icon-led directions, Momentum, Route and Horizon, which helped the client see that a separate symbol was not the answer.
- Move the idea into the lettersThe second round built transport cues directly into the RHT letters in Archivo Black, producing Slipstream, Haulline and Forward.
- Set two palettesA refined red, green and charcoal palette for the logo, and a UAE flag palette used as a restrained system on the website.
- Build the site as scoped blocksSeven templates were built on WordPress with Hello Elementor and Elementor as self-contained HTML widget blocks with scoped CSS.
- Verified facts onlyTemplates were structured so the client's own figures, such as years in operation and fleet size, slot in without redesign, with nothing invented.
The starting point
Road Haulier Transport L.L.C (RHT) is a Dubai-based road transport, heavy haulage and logistics company serving the UAE market, with potential coverage across the GCC. Its existing logo carried a lot: an RHT monogram with a road swoosh, the full English name, the Arabic name (رود هولير للنقل ش.ذ.م.م) and a UAE flag graphic in the corner.
The client asked for two things. First, a logo redesign that looks premium and more abstract, keeps the same colour theme of UAE red and green with black and white, and includes subtle road transport cues, "but not too much". Second, a full company website on WordPress that presents the business clearly and credibly.
The approach
Logo: from icon to wordmark
The first round explored icon-led marks under three names: Momentum, Route and Horizon. Reviewing them with the client made the direction clearer. A separate symbol was not the answer; the transport idea should live inside or around the RHT letters themselves. The references the client responded to were logistics wordmarks that run a speed swoosh into the type, set a truck on top of the type, or fold a chevron arrow out of a letter.
The second round answered that with three premium wordmark directions, all set in the heavy Archivo Black typeface:
- Slipstream: speed streaks that run into the letterforms.
- Haulline: a road swoosh with a semi-truck silhouette over the type.
- Forward: a folded red and green chevron that grows out of the T, pointing ahead.
Website: a self-contained build
The site was built on WordPress with the Hello Elementor theme and Elementor containers. Every section is a self-contained HTML widget block that carries its own CSS, scoped under a single parent class with unique, prefixed class names and its own CSS variables. Nothing relies on global Elementor colours or typography. This is a pattern we use across our web development work because it stops theme updates and plugin defaults from bleeding into the brand.
Key design decisions
A refined palette for the logo
Rather than the literal flag colours, the wordmarks use a deeper, more premium set: red #C8102E, green #007A3D and charcoal #17181A. They keep the UAE association while reading as a corporate brand.
The flag as a system on the website
The website palette draws directly on the UAE flag, used as a restrained brand system rather than decoration: green #00732F as the primary colour, red #FF0000 for calls to action and accents, black #000000 for type and white #FFFFFF for backgrounds.
No invented numbers
Haulage buyers check credentials, so the site makes no claim it cannot back up: no invented statistics, projects, testimonials, certifications or fleet numbers. Every figure, from years in operation to fleet size, comes from the client, and the templates are built so verified details and branded photography slot in without redesign.

Questions about this project
What typeface is used in the RHT wordmark?
All three wordmark directions, Slipstream, Haulline and Forward, are set in Archivo Black, a heavy display typeface. The weight gives the short RHT letterforms enough mass to carry the transport cues: speed streaks, a road swoosh with a semi-truck silhouette, or a folded chevron growing out of the T.
What colours does the RHT brand use?
The wordmarks use a refined palette of red #C8102E, green #007A3D and charcoal #17181A. The website uses the UAE flag colours as a restrained system: green #00732F as primary, red #FF0000 for calls to action and accents, black #000000 for type and white #FFFFFF for backgrounds.
How was the RHT website built?
The site runs on WordPress with the Hello Elementor theme and Elementor containers. Each section is a self-contained HTML widget block with its own scoped CSS, so theme defaults cannot override the brand. It has seven templates: Home, About Us, Services, Service Detail, Fleet, Projects and Industries, and Contact with a quote request.
