## Summary

A new identity, brand book, applications and website for GST Transport, a UAE heavy haulage and logistics company operating since 2016.

## The brief

GST Transport has moved heavy, oversized, low bed and large volume cargo by road across the UAE, the GCC and the wider Middle East since 2016. Clients trust it with high-value cargo, so the identity had to signal speed and efficiency while building credibility. It also had to stay consistent everywhere it appears, from a business card to the side of a shipping container.

## The starting point

GST Transport L.L.C is a UAE heavy haulage and logistics company that has operated since 2016. Its services cover container transport, general cargo on flatbed trailers, heavy cargo on lowbed trailers and tailor-made logistics. Customers hand it oversized and high-value loads, which means they are judging whether the company looks reliable long before they see a truck or a driver.

The brief was a corporate identity that signals speed and efficiency while building credibility. The practical constraint mattered just as much. A haulage brand is reproduced by many different suppliers on very different surfaces: business cards, stationery, signage, trailers and shipping containers. The identity had to stay consistent in the hands of people who would never speak to the designer.

## The approach

The identity is built on three brand values: **Growth, Service and Trust**. From there the work moved outward in layers. First the mark itself, drawn on a construction grid so its proportions can be reproduced exactly at any size. Then the system around it: colours, typography rules, logo versions, icon variations and a matching set of logistics icons. Then the applications, where the system was tested on the objects the company actually uses. Finally, the same system was carried into a new company website, so the brand a customer sees on a container is the brand they meet when they request a quote.

That order, values first, then the mark, then the system, then the applications, is how we approach most [logo design and brand identity](/services/logo-design-brand-identity/) projects, because a logo without a system tends to drift the first time a new supplier prints it.

## Key design decisions

### A mark that moves forward

The icon is a curved, road-like mark that sweeps forward, a company aiming ahead. It sits beside a bold, italic GST wordmark that reads as strength and motion, with TRANSPORT L.L.C set in a clean geometric sans. The italic carries the speed the brief asked for; the geometric sans keeps the lock-up structured and legible on paperwork and signage.

### Orange with navy and Charleston Green

The palette pairs International Orange (#FD5202) with Navy (#19166C) and Charleston Green (#212A2E). The orange carries the energy and pace of the brief. The navy and the near-black green give the brand the weight a buyer expects from a company carrying high-value cargo.

### A version for every surface

Rather than a single logo file, the brand book provides logo versions in navy, black, orange and grey, and icon variations on light, orange and navy backgrounds. A signwriter, a container printer and a web developer each get a version made for their surface instead of improvising one.

## What was delivered

- A brand book with the logo rationale and a construction grid for the mark.

- Logo versions in navy, black, orange and grey, plus icon variations on light, orange and navy backgrounds.

- A colour system built on International Orange (#FD5202), Navy (#19166C) and Charleston Green (#212A2E).

- Typography rules, mission and vision statements and a matching logistics icon set.

- Applications: business cards, stationery, branded shipping containers, signage and a mobile app concept.

- A company website at gst-tpt.com with a page for each service and a quote request form.

The mission and vision recorded in the brand book commit the company to reliable, timely and safe transport that meets industry standards, and to setting benchmarks in efficiency, customer satisfaction and sustainability.

## Where it is used now

The identity runs on the live website at gst-tpt.com, where container transport, general cargo, heavy cargo and tailor-made logistics each have their own page and enquiries arrive through the quote request form with the details the operations team needs. The brand book gives the company one reference to hand to every printer, signwriter and developer it works with. If you are planning a change of identity yourself, our [rebranding checklist](/insights/rebranding-checklist-india/) covers the practical steps.
